Mille Miglia 2010 Update Day 3
The third and final leg of the Mille Miglia 2010 is now complete and the event is over for another year. This leg saw the 375 cars depart from Rome and travel the 500 miles or so back to Brescia.
After an early start in Rome the cars travelled through Viterbo and Pienzam. The journey then took tne rally into Siena, driving round the famous square in this historic town. Firenze and Bologna were next in the road book before Parma, Cremona and then finally Brescia.
After 18 hours of driving the cars were welcomed back to Brescia. Even though it was late at night the town was buzzing as the large crowd waited to welcome the cars, with an Italian in a BMW 328 Mille Miglia Coupe in first place.
Adrian and Clare Johnson in Car 325 finished in 154th place and Terry and Liz Bramall in Car 322 in 125th. Superb results from both cars and we will await their return for full details of their 1000 miles.
