Second Place at the St. John Horsfall Meeting
The annual AMOC St. John Horsfall Meeting was held at Silverstone on Saturday, 22 May and, as ever, was one of the biggest events of the AMOC racing calendar.
Post Vintage Managing Director, Adrian Johnson, was once again racing in the St. John Horsfall race in Aston Martin 2 Litre Speed Model, LM23. Starting on the front row in second position, Adrian had a fabulous race. Driving the 1.63 miles of the National Circuit, Adrian completed 12 laps in the 15 minute race, with a fastest lap time of just 1 minute 21.4 seconds.
After a fabulous race, with Tony Armstrong’s modified Aston Martin Le Mans in hot pursuit, Adrian finished in a fabulous second place behind David Freeman in the Aston Martin Spa Special.

The day also saw many other Astons take to the track under the blazing sun in several other races including the 50s Sports Car Team Challenge, Historic/Classic Race and the Intermarque Championship.
