Post Vintage have recently completed restoration work on a 1965 DB5 Saloon. The car was sold and restored to a suggested list of works by ourselves, with many options available for the client to choose from or add to, including colour.
The work commenced with the car being stripped back to bare metal. As well as providing the best surface on which to repaint the car, this also allows for the car to be fully assessed to see how straight it is and see if there are any areas of the aluminium which need repair work. Any repairs deemed necessary where then carried out.
The car was then repainted to the client’s choice of Silver Birch before being rebuilt with new Wilton carpets, heat and sound proofing, new wheels, tyres and lights along with the original interior which was cleaned and refitted.
