DB5 Convertible
We have recently acquired a very rare and genuine two owner DB5 Convertible. Finished in black with tan hides and hood, this is the colour the car left the factory in 1963, when it was supplied new to Staffordshire in the UK.
A copy of the factory build sheet shows the car is a matching numbers car and was supplied as such. Delivered on the 7th November 1963, the car was fitted with chrome road wheels and a factory Motorola radio.
The car is supplied with a comprehensive history file, containing its original green log book showing that it is a genuine two owner car from new. The second owner acquired the car in March 1976 owning it until March 2009.
Today the car benefits from a very strong, rebuilt engine, rebuilt suspension and a recent gearbox rebuild, making the car excellent mechanically. New bumpers have been fitted as have new wheels and tyres.
The interior has the patina of being original and is enhanced by the cleanliness of new carpets and underfelts. New boot carpets have also been fitted.
Offered today with the benefit of a comprehensive 10,000 mile service by ourselves and a new MOT, the car is ready to be used and enjoyed for the summer.
